Notice and Takedown Procedure

VidShare respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement.

Important Notice

⚠️ We do not host any video content.

All videos on VidShare are embedded from third-party hosting platforms (Streamtape, Doodstream, Mixdrop, Filemoon, etc.). We only display links to content hosted elsewhere. The actual video files are stored on and controlled by these external platforms.

Filing a DMCA Complaint

If you believe that content linked on VidShare infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include the following information:

Required Information

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work: Describe the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, provide a representative list.
  2. Identification of the infringing material: Provide the specific URL(s) of the page(s) on VidShare that contain the allegedly infringing content.
  3. Contact information: Include your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good faith statement: Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  5. Accuracy statement: Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  6. Signature: Provide a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or person authorized to act on their behalf.

What Happens Next

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  1. Review your complaint within 24-48 hours
  2. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing link if the claim is valid
  3. Notify the user who submitted the content (if applicable)
  4. Keep a record of the complaint

Counter-Notice

If you believe that content you submitted was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your name, address, phone number, and email address
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.

False Claims

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. We reserve the right to seek damages from any party that submits a false or bad faith DMCA notice.

Copyright Infringement on Third-Party Platforms

Since we do not host video content, you may also need to file a DMCA complaint directly with the hosting platform where the content is stored:

Filing a DMCA complaint with the hosting platform will remove the video from all sites that embed it, including ours.
